Corporate media are afraid of the people’s solidarity!

We received information from friends in Germany regarding mass media manipulation of recent activist’s work presented in our blog. A German newspaper (Süddeutsche Zeitung – SZ, 20th Feb issue) published a photo of Greek protesters spelling “We thank you” commenting that the Greeks say thank you to Germany and its government for the 2nd bailout.

Οn 18th of February great protests were organized throughout the world but mainly in Europe with the moving title “We are all Greeks”. It was the way of Europe’s people to answer to the ongoing Greek economic slaughter taking place and to campaign the inevitable conclusion that these practices if implemented in Greece will affect the whole of Europe when it comes to labor reforms and austerity. Therefore, on Feb 18th, protesters in more than 40 (!) cities around the world yelled “We are all Greeks” in an effort to underline the common root of all this evil but also to express their solidarity to the Greeks who fight two years now, under unprecedented police (meaning state) repression, total lack of any democratic procedures and legitimate-like illegal procedures.

These demonstrations were on the track of a true “dialectic” between people of various European and other countries that expressed themselves in opposite way from their governments and the non elected EU – IMF – ECB officials..

On the same day a group of greek activists, in order to take upon the opportunity to continue this true dialogue, gathered at Syntagma square and with the help of some cardboard painted alphabet letters, they “spelled” the names of most of the cities which participated in this great mobilization concluding with a big WE THANK YOU towards them in the end…

The very next day, that true people’s dialogue obviously created panic to the corporate media everywhere…

The corporate Greek TV broadcasting talked about solidarity to “the efforts of the country on reforms”, some french media used the greek activist “we thank you” as a hypothetical “thank you” from the Greeks to the EU and last, but not least,.. in a recital of manipulative “journalism” a german newspaper has added another nail in the coffin of media trustworthiness around Europe, by publishing the “thank you”photo as a thank you to the german government..

If it were not so disgusting, it could be funny such a claim made now, in the last days of Pompei -or should we say Europe as we know it…
For what is Europe without democracy, equity and rationalism?
It is this circus of neo-mediavalism that we all experience.

For some of us in Greece taking to the streets almost everyday this media reaction is no news.
When we return home at night and the most patient of us watch “the news” we know what the TV – REALITY is all about. It is the same TV – REALITY that showcased a tranquil life in Tunisia while people were getting killed on the streets..

As a serious reporter should have done, we invited one of the greek activists who organized this event to share with us his opinion on the matter:
“There is no misconception in the slightest way the meaning of this action of gratitude was the response to the people of Europe and the World by naming each and every city that protested in solidarity to the Greeks fighting against the austerity measures and the debt-restructuring program.
There is no misconception in the slightest way this activist action is against the PSI the IMF and EU policies, therefore against German policy as well.
There is no misconception in the slightest way that European journalism is hitting bottom low by distorting and exploiting our actions as citizens of Europe presenting it as a promotion of the bureaucratic policies of Brussels.
We are deeply offended by this distortion of the truth.”

Turn your TV off, stop accrediting the corporate media, find true alternative sources of information!

We are all people of the world, we fight as one.
The more authoritarian the ways of those in power, the quickest their fall…

Among those trying to take advantage of the momentum created by the “we are all Greeks” solidarity movement, there is also the Greek far right. Every aspect of the greek far right, from the Lepen-ite political parties to the openly neofascist gangs, has a long history of using the greek national identity as its ideological pseudo-answer to both local and International class struggle and other political issues. Furthermore, with the help of their own tabloids and the corporate media, some of those groups are trying to strip this movement of its true meaning, the solidarity between working people regardless of nationality, sex and religion, and turn it into a triumph of Greek “pride” or at best, a movement of some “enlightened friends of Greece”. The truth behind the solidarity mobilizations, is that they were organized in countries, where the people have been either hit by severe austerity measures similar to those imposed on the greek people, or fear that they will be the next hit by these neoliberal lethal policies. These demonstrations conveyed a clear message not only to all participants, but also to all the people across europe who see hope in such actions. They are part of a resistance struggle against the wills of the International Markets, the IMF, the Banks and the rotten politicians that represent their interests.

Konzernmedien fürchten die Solidarität unter den Völkern!

Von unseren Freunden in Deutschland haben wir über die manipulative Verwendung der Arbeit der Aktivisten auf diesem Blog erfahren. Eine deutsche Zeitung veröffentlichte ein Foto griechischer Demonstranten, die die Worte „ We thank you“ ( Wir danken Euch) mit Plakaten buchstabieren, und bezeichnete dies als Dank der Griechen an Deutschland und seine Regierung für den 2. Bailout (Schuldenschnitt).

Am 18. Februar wurden in der ganzen Welt, aber hauptsächlich in Europa, große Proteste mit dem bewegenden Titel „ We are all Greeks“ ( Wir sind alle Griechen) durchgeführt.

Auf diese Weise hat die Bevölkerung von Europa auf die andauernde ökonomische Ausschlachtung Griechenlands geantwortet und ist gegen den unweigerlichen Schluss, dass diese Praktiken, wenn sie in Griechenland eingeführt sind ganz Europa im Bezug auf Arbeitsmarktreformen und Austeritätsmaßnahmen beeinflussen, zu Felde gezogen.

Daher riefen Demonstranten am 18. Februar in mehr als 40 (!) Städten weltweit „We are all Greeks“um die gemeinsame Wurzel all dieses Bösen zu unterstreichen, aber auch um ihre Solidarität mit den Griechen zum Ausdruck zu bringen, die jetzt seit 2 Jahren kämpfen unter noch nie dagewesener polizeilicher (also staatlicher) Unterdrückung , totalem Fehlen jeglicher demokratischer Prozesse und legitim-artigen illegalen Prozeduren.

Diese Demonstrationen waren auf der Spur einer wahrhaften „Dialektik“ zwischen Menschen aus verschiedenen europäischen und anderen Ländern die sich gegen ihre Regierungen und die nicht gewählten EU-IWF-EZB Vertreter.

Am gleichen Tag versammelte sich eine Gruppe griechischer Aktivisten am Syntagma Platz um die Gelegenheit zu nutzen diesen wahrhaftigen Dialog fortzusetzen. Unter Zuhilfenahme von Buchstabentafeln „buchstabierten“ sie die Namen der meisten Städte die an dieser großartigen Mobilisierung teilgenommen haben und bildeten abschließend ein großes „We thank you“.

Gleich am nächsten Tag schuf dieser wahrhaftige Dialog der Völker offensichtlich Panik bei den Konzernmedien.

Das Griechische Konzern- Fernsehen berichtete über Solidarität mit „den Anstrengungen des Landes zu Reformen“, französische Medien nutzten das griechische „ We thank you“ als hypothetisches Dankeschön der Griechen an die EU und, zu guter Letzt,… in einem Paradebeispiel manipulativen „Journalismus“ hat eine Deutsche Zeitung einen weiter Nagel in den Sarg der Vertrauenswürdigkeit der Medien in Europa geschlagen, indem sie das Dankeschön-Foto als Dank an die deutsche Regierung veröffentlicht hat..

Wäre es nicht so abstoßend, könnte es sogar lustig sein dies jetzt zu behaupten , in den letzten Tagen von Pompeii- oder sollte man sagen Europa wie wir es kennen..

Denn was ist Europa , ohne Demokratie, ohne Fairness und ohne Rationalismus? Es ist ein Neo- Mittelaltertum welches wir erleben.

Für einige von uns in Griechenland , die jeden Tag protestieren, ist diese Medienreaktion keine Neuigkeit. Wenn wir abends heimkehren und die meisten von uns geduldig „die News“ sehen wissen wir wie es mit der TV-Realität steht. Es ist die gleiche TV-Realität ,die ein ruhiges Leben in Tunesien präsentierte, als Menschen auf den Straßen starben.

Wie ein seriöser Reporter das tun sollte haben wir die griechischen Aktivisten, die diese Aktion organisierten, eingeladen um mit uns ihre Gedanken über dieses Problem zu teilen: „Es gibt kein Missverständnis darüber,dass die Bedeutung dieser Tat der Dankbarkeit die Antwort an die Menschen Europas und der Welt ist; und zwar durch die Nennung jeder Stadt, die in Solidarität mit den Griechen und ihrem Kampf gegen Austeritätsmaßnahmen und die Schulden-Restrukturierung protestierten.

Es gibt kein Missverständnis darüber, dass sich diese Aktionen gegen die Politik des PSI, des IWF und der EU richtet; daher natürlich auch gegen deutsche Politik.

Es gibt kein Missverständnis darüber, dass der europäische Journalismus in die tiefste Schublade greift indem er die Taten der Bürger von Europa verzerrt und als Reklame für bürokratische Politik aus Brüssel missbraucht.

Wir sind zutiefst getroffen von dieser Verzerrung der Wahrheit.“

Schalte den Fernseher aus, hör auf damit die Konzernmedien zu unterstützen, finde alternative wahre Informationsquellen!

Wir sind alle Völker der Erde, wir kämpfen vereint!

Je autoritärer sich die Machthaber verhalten, umso schneller werden sie fallen…

Τα εταιρικά ΜΜΕ φοβούνται την αλληλεγγύη των λαών!

Πληροφορηθήκαμε από φίλους στη Γερμανία ότι υπήρξε χειραγώγηση από πλευράς γερμανικών μίντια δουλειάς Ελλήνων ακτιβιστών που παρουσιάστηκε από το μπλογκ μας. Μια γερμανική εφημερίδα δημοσίευσε φωτογραφία Ελλήνων διαδηλωτών που γράφουνε με χαρτόνια τη φράση “ευχαριστούμε”(“We thank you”) σχολιάζοντας ότι οι Έλληνες ευχαριστούν τη Γερμανία για τη δεύτερη δανειακή σύμβαση!

Στις 16 Φεβρουαρίου, μεγάλες διαδηλώσεις οργανώθηκαν σε ολόκληρο τον κόσμο και κυρίως στην Ευρώπη με το συγκινισιακό τίτλο “Είμαστε όλοι Ελληνες!” (“We are all Greeks”). Ήταν ο τρόπος των λαών της Ευρώπης να απαντήσουν στη συνεχιζόμενη ελληνική οικονομική σφαγή και να κηρύξουν το αναπόφευκτο συμπέρασμα, ότι δηλαδή αυτές οι πρακτικές αν εφαρμοστούν στην Ελλάδα, θα εφαρμοστούν αργότερα σε όλη την Ευρώπη ειδικά όσον αφορά στη λιτότητα και στα εργασιακά. Έτσι λοιπόν, στις 18 Φεβρουαρίου, διαδηλωτές σε περισσότερες από 40 (!) πόλεις του κόσμου φώναξαν “Είμαστε όλοι Ελληνες!” σε μια προσπάθεια να υπογραμμίσουν την κοινή αιτία του κακού, αλλά και να εκφράσουν την αλληλεγγύη τους στους Έλληνες που παλεύουν εδώ και δύο χρόνια κάτω από πρωτοφανή αστυνομική (δλδ κρατική) καταστολή, παντελή έλλειψη δημοκρατικών διαδικασιών και υπό νομιμοφανείς παράνομες διαδικασίες.

Αυτές οι κινητοποιήσεις ήταν στην κατεύθυνση μια πραγματικής “διαλεκτικής” ανάμεσα στους λαούς διαφόρων Ευρωπαϊκών και άλλων χωρών που εκφράζουν αντίθετες απόψεις από εκείνες των κυβερνήσεών τους, αλλά και των μη εκλεγμένων στελεχών των ΕΕ – ΔΝΤ – ΕΚΤ.

Την ίδια μέρα, μια ομάδα ελλήνων ακτιβιστών, προκειμένου να δώσει μια συνέχεια σε αυτόν τον αληθινό διάλογο, μαζεύτηκε στην Πλατεία Συντάγματος και με τη βοήθεια σχεδιασμένων σε χαρτόνια γραμμάτων του αλφάβητου, “συλλάβισε” τα ονόματα των περισσότερων πόλεων που συμμετείχαν στη μεγάλη κινητοποίηση ολοκληρώνοντας τη δράση της με ένα μεγάλο “ευχαριστούμε” στο τέλος, το οποίο απευθυνόταν στις διαδηλώσεις αλληλεγγύης που σε όλη την Ευρώπη και τον κόσμο.

Την επόμενη μέρα αυτός ο αληθινός διάλογος μεταξύ των λαών προφανώς δημιούργησε πανικό στα εταιρικά μίντια παντού…

Τα ελληνικά κανάλια μιλούσαν για αλληλεγγύη “στις προσπάθειες της Ελλάδας για μεταρρυθμίσεις”, μερικά γαλλικά μέσα έκαναν λόγο για ένα υποθετικό “ευχαριστώ” των Ελλήνων προς την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση και τέλος σε ένα ρεσιτάλ “δημοσιογραφίας” της χειραγώγησης μια γερμανική εφημερίδα πρόσθεσε ένα ακόμη καρφί στο φέρετρο της μιντιακής φερεγγυότητας δημοσιεύοντας το ελληνικό ευχαριστώ να απευθύνεται δήθεν στη γερμανική κυβέρνηση!

Αν δεν ήταν αποκρουστικός θα μπορούσε να είναι αστείος ένας τέτοιος ισχυρισμός, τούτες τις τελευταίες μέρες της Πομπηίας ή καλύτερνα να λέγαμε της Ευρώπης όπως την ξέραμε..

Διότι τι είναι η Ευρώπη χωρίς δημοκρατία, ισονομία κα ορθολογισμό;

Είναι το νεο-μεσαιωνικό τσίρκο που βιώνουμε…

Για μερικούς από εμάς στην Ελλάδα που βγαίνουμε στους δρόμους σχεδόν καθημερινά αυτή η αντίδραση των ΜΜΕ δεν είναι είδηση. Όταν γυρίζουμε σπίτι το βράδυ, και οι υπομονετικότεροι από εμάς βλέπουν “ειδήσεις” γνωρίζουμε πολύ καλά τι είναι η ΤΗΛΕ – ΠΡΑΓΜΑΤΙΚΟΤΗΤΑ. Είναι η ίδια ΤΗΛΕ-ΠΡΑΓΜΑΤΙΚΟΤΗΤΑ που εξέπεμπε μια ήσυχη ζωή στην Τυνησία την ίδια στιγμή που άνθρωποι σκοτώνονταν στους δρόμους.

Οπως θα έκανε ένας δημοσιογράφος που σέβεται τις αρχές της δημοσιογραφίας, καλέσαμε έναν από τους διοργανωτές αυτής της δράσης για να μοιραστεί μαζί μας την άποψή του για το θέμα:

“Δε χωράει καμία παρερμηνεία στο ελάχιστο ότι η εν λόγω δράση ευχαριστίας ήταν απάντηση προς τους πολίτες της Ευρώπης και του Κόσμου με την αναφορά όλων των πόλεων που διαδήλωσαν σε αλληλεγγύη με τους Έλληνες εναντίον των μέτρων λιτότητας και της αναδιάρθρωσης του χρέους.

Δεν χωράει καμία παρερμηνεία στο ελάχιστο ότι η εν λόγω δράση είναι ενάντια στο PSI και το ΔΝΤ και τις πολιτικές της ΕΕ, και ως εκ τούτου εναντίον της Γερμανικής πολιτικής.

Δεν χωράει καμία παρερμηνεία στο ελάχιστο ότι η ευρωπαϊκή δημοσιογραφία πιάνει πάτο με τη διαστρέβλωση και εκμετάλλευση των δράσεών μας ως πολίτες της Ευρώπης, παρουσιάζοντάς τες ως υπέρμαχες των πολιτικών αποφάσεων των Βρυξελλών.

Είμαστε βαθύτατα προσβεβλημένοι από αυτή τη διαστρέβλωση της αλήθειας.”

Κλείστε τις τηλεοράσεις, σταματήστε να δίνετε πίστη στα εταιρικά ΜΜΕ, βρείτε αληθινές εναλλακτικές πηγές ενημέρωσης!

Εμείς,όλοι οι άνθρωποι του κόσμου, παλεύουμε σαν ένα.

Όσο πιο απολυταρχική η εξουσία τόσο πιο γρήγορη η πτώση της…

Ανάμεσα σε εκείνους που προσπαθούν να εκμεταλλευτούν την ορμή που έχει δημιουργηθεί από το κίνημα “είμαστε όλοι Έλληνες” είναι και η άκρα δεξιά. Κάθε εκδοχή της άκρας δεξιάς στην Ελλάδα, από τα Λεπενιστικά πολιτικά κόμματα μέχρι τις νεοφασιστικές συμμορίες, έχει μακρά ιστορία χρήσης της ελληνικής εθνικής ταυτότητας ως την ιδεολογική της ψευτο-απάντηση τόσο απέναντι στην τοπική όσο και στη διεθνή ταξική πάλλη και σε άλλα πολιτικά ζητήματα. Περεταίρω, με τη βοήθεια των φυλλάδων τους και των καθεστωτικών ΜΜΕ μερικές από αυτές τις γκρούπες προσπαθούν να απογυμνώσουν το κίνημα από το πραγματικό του νόημα, την αλληλεγγύη μεταξύ των ανθρώπων του μόχθου, ανεξάρτητα από εθνικότητα, φύλλο ή θρησκεία, και να το διαστρευλώσουν σε ένα θρίαμβο ελληνικής “υπερηφάνιας” ή, στην καλύτερη περίπτωση, σε ένα κίνημα κάποιων “πεφωτισμένων φίλων της Ελλάδας”. Η αλήθεια πίσω από τα κινήματα αλληλεγγύης είναι ότι οργανώθηκαν σε χώρες όπου οι λαοί είτε έχουν χτυπηθεί από σοβαρά μέτρα λιτότητας, αντίστοιχα με εκείνα που εφαρμόζονται στην Ελλάδα, ή φοβούνται πως θα ακολουθήσει η σειρά τους να χτυπηθούν από αυτές τις θανάσιμες νεοφιλελεύθερες πολιτικές. Οι διαδηλώσεις αυτές έστειλαν ένα καθαρό μήνυμα, όχι μόνο σε όσους συμμετείχαν σε αυτές, αλλά και σε όλους τους λαούς της ευρώπης που βλέπουν ελπίδα σε αυτό το κίνημα. Αποτελούν κομμάτι ενός αγώνα αντίστασης ενάντια στη θέληση των διεθνών αγορών, του ΔΝΤ, των τραπεζών και των σάπιων πολιτικών που εκπροσωπούν τα συμφέροντά τους.
